As part of the quartz family, Amethyst is a magnifying stone, however the iron that brings out it’s beautiful violet purple hues brings peace, purification and tranquility. A stone of transformation and transmutation, amethyst helps us take what’s given and turn it into something brighter and happier. Making lemonade out of lemons.
Ancient civilizations used Amethyst as a purifying stone to help get rid of negativity, Ancient Greece used Amethyst as a Sobriety stone while Ancient Egypt associated Amethyst with Osiris and wore it for protection.
This piece is handwoven in Solid 0.925 Sterling Silver. Any sterling safe polish will restore it’s beautiful shine, but cream and liquid polish is recommended. Be aware not all polishes are safe for all minerals; always check your polish!
