As the Quartz is exposed to extreme conditions, titanium powder is sprayed onto the piece which has a chemical reaction to the heat and forms stunning rainbows. While this is a manmade reaction this idea was taken from very rare natural specimens. Titanium is known around the world for it’s strength and adds aspects of strength, resilience and beauty to an already powerful stone.
This piece is handwoven in clear coat enameled genuine copper. The clear coat of enamel protects the copper from patina and damage. Natural patina over time may occur, any copper safe polish will restore its beautiful shine. Do not expose to water over long periods of time; this will speed up the patina process.
