Tagua is an all natural faux ivory made from the nut of a palm tree. This beautiful material is carved, dried and dyed into all shapes and sizes. It’s harvest was started as a way to discourage the ivory trade as a renewable, cruelty free alternative. Adorned with a natural citrine for creativity and inspiration, black onyx for protection and black spinel for strength.
This piece is handwoven in clear coat enameled genuine copper. The clear coat of enamel protects the copper from patina and damage. Natural patina over time may occur, any copper safe polish will restore its beautiful shine. Do not expose to water over long periods of time; this will speed up the patina process.
