The gorgeous green color is a result of copper patina occurring inside the crystal. Usually forming in caves, it’s possible to find Malachite stalactites alongside deposits of copper, azurite and chrysocolla.

This piece is handwoven in clear coat enameled genuine copper. The clear coat of enamel protects the copper from patina and damage. Natural patina over time may occur, any copper safe polish will restore its beautiful shine. Do not expose to water over long periods of time; this will speed up the patina process.
