When you think of Moonstone you probably think of Rainbow Moonstone, but did you know about it’s less famous cousin? Often called brown or peach moonstone, this crystal comes in white, peach, brown and black. Although both of these crystals are types of feldspar their composition is very different.
Energetically, black moonstone is much more introspective, a stone of reflecting in on yourself. You can think of this crystal as the dark side of the moon or the “new moon”. When you find yourself drawn to black moonstone it could be time for rest. A time to look inwards and find what needs to change. Be kind to yourself and have patience. Accented with a fresh water pearl for perseverance, strength and beauty. Pearls are sand compressed over time by sea life until they turn into something beautiful. This too shall pass.
This piece is handwoven in clear coat enameled genuine copper. The clear coat of enamel protects the copper from patina and damage. Natural patina over time may occur, any copper safe polish will restore it’s beautiful shine. Do not expose to water over long periods of time; this will speed up the patina process.
